The Coppers
PRO Tips
This is the easiest hole on the course by stroke index, but don’t let that take away from the importance of a good game plan. It’s a short par 4 with a gentle dogleg to the left, playing downhill towards the green.
For the bigger hitters, the temptation may be to take on the green from the tee. However, this can bring the trouble into play, with rough on either side of the fairway near the green and bunkers waiting to catch an errant shot.
The smart play is to take a little off the tee, find the fairway and leave yourself a comfortable approach. Show this hole the respect it deserves and you’ll give yourself a great opportunity to make par—or even pick up a birdie.
Don’t confuse a short hole with an easy hole. Play within your game, avoid the trouble and give yourself a chance to score.
