Blackthorn
PRO Tips
A good par three that offers a fair challenge for golfers of all abilities. The green is slightly elevated at the front, with more pronounced slopes rising around the sides and back.
Holding the green can be particularly difficult during the summer when conditions are firm and fast. Many golfers run the ball onto the putting surface, only to watch it slowly gather pace, run across the green and eventually disappear off the other side.
Take the conditions into account and favour a shot that lands softly on the green. Good distance control and a higher approach shot will give you a much better chance of staying on the green.
