Out of bounds runs along the left-hand side of the fairway, so favour the right side from the tee. A solid drive is important here, as the rise in the fairway hides the green from view. If your drive finishes too far right, a group of pine trees can block the direct approach to the green.

There is a bunker short of the green and another to the right, so take these hazards into account when selecting your club and line. The green is relatively wide but not particularly deep, so distance control is crucial. Avoid being too aggressive, as there is a large gully behind the green. A shot that carries too far can leave you with a difficult recovery – or potentially a lost ball.

Prioritise position off the tee and favour a conservative approach. On this hole, keeping the ball in play is far more valuable than chasing the flag.
