The first hole is a testing opener and requires a good drive to give you the best view of the green.

The fairway slopes from left to right, so the ball will naturally feed towards the trees on the right-hand side, which can block your view of the green. Aim slightly left from the tee to allow for the slope.

There is a single bunker at the front right protecting the green, and the slopes surrounding it provide a strong defence.

A well-positioned approach is key – focus on finding the right part of the green rather than simply chasing the pin.
